Our Company

GS Custom Works Inc. is a Freeport, Illinois based Corporation. Established in 2006. Our Company is successful by providing our customers with high quality innovative new products and having the capability to do custom CNC machining for segments of the Specialty Equipment, Automotive Repair and Motorcycle Aftermarket.

We can perform Product Design, Prototype, and Production.

We have achieved many milestones:

Designed its first marketable product the Tank Paint Pro™
Filed its first Patent Application on Tank Paint Pro™
Negotiate a license agreement on the Tank Paint Pro™

We have an established and experienced management team with industry knowledge. Our team has proven that we can work with other business professionals to accomplish our mission.

The Corporation is owned by Phil Gothard, President and Mark Spittler, Vice President.

Mr. Gothard has 34 plus years of industrial experience. In 1981 Mr. Gothard became a Journeyman Machinist later joining the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company management team. Mr. Gothard’s management experience includes: Facilities Maintenance Manager, Preventative Maintenance Manager, Shipping Manager, and Industrial engineering.

Mr. Spittler also has an industrial background. He has been involved with production work for several companies and has a solid mechanical background. Mr. Spittler is an Air Force Veteran with formal military maintenance training. Mr. Spittler has worked with Quality Improvement Committees and worked in an ISO 9000 environment. In addition, Mr. Spittler has successfully completed several College classes in manufacturing processes, basic welding, heat treatment and metallurgy, as well as basic electric and hydraulics.

His background, experiences, and passion for the industry are brought to the company with fresh enthusiasm and energy to bring GS Custom Works Inc. to the next level.

GS Custom Works has invented a much superior way for painters to do custom painting of motorcycle parts. The Tank Paint™ is our first product.. It offers the ability to hold and do custom work on motorcycle tanks. Further add on products are being developed to make this paint stand an even more complete and universal piece of equipment for paint specialists.
